 - 15 May, 2019
A collaboration has been formed between the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Taiwan to promote collaboration in terms of academics between India and Taiwan.
The collaboration was initiated by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre in India (TECC), an education division which will focus on providing the Indian students with opportunities internationally, along with improving the industry and academic cooperation between India and Taiwan.
However, the requirements of each university will differ, therefore, the MoUs will be signed as per the requirements.
As of now, about 2,398 Indian students from various technical and non-technical institutes are studying in Taiwan. These students are trained to meet the demands of the Indian as well as global industries.
The P&A advisor at AICTE, Dr. Rajiv, stated that Taiwan, being famous for its industries in Information and Communication Technologies as well as the smart machines, will help Indian students who choose to study in the Universities of Taiwan. He said that this will give them the required experience, both practically and theoretically, in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, 3D painting and many more fields of study.
