Good Will Hunting

Good Will Hunting

The movie is about Will Hunting, played by Matt Damon, a 20-year-old rebellious mathematical genius who is a Janitor at MIT.

Will has a rough past that is responsible for this complicated personality.

This leads to self-sabotage in his personal and professional life. One day, Will solves a tough Math problem that Professor Gerald Lambeau left on thechalk board.

This catches the attention of the professor and he tracks down Will. When he finds Will in a legal situation, Gerald offers two options to choose, either go to jail, or study Math under his supervision and take up therapy. Will chooses the latter and studies Math.

He also meets a psychiatrist, played by Robin Williams, who helps him deal with his low self-esteem, personal and professional issues. The movie was nominated for nine Academy Awards and won two awards for Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Screenplay.
