There are around 6900 languages spoken all over the world. Hindi is one of the prominent 30 languages. Like other Indo-Aryan languages, Hindi came from Sanskrit, through Sauraseni Prakrit and Śauraseni Apabhraṃśa. It has been influenced by Dravidian languages, Turkic languages, Persian, Arabic, Portuguese and English.
India is one of the oldest civilisations with myriad cultures, rich history and tradition. It has a vibrant film industry and it is also an aspiring economic power. Hindi is a must for anyone who wants to be a part of Indian success story. It is also a language that unites Indians.
Hindi is a flexible language that it can be easily taught and the progress of the learner assessed in 25 ways. Its flexibility and phonetic based word formation capabilities make it one of the easiest languages to grasp. But the use of ‘matras’ is a tricky affair, which even natives find it hard to grasp while writing. So, Hindi is easy to learn and speak but a bit difficult to write correctly.
Today, education is regarded as a remunerative tool and means to earn certificates. But is this real education? The answer is an emphatic NO. Education brings freedom, it unchains us. Education is an art of solving challenges thrown by life. Socrates, Aristotle, Plato, Picasso, Newton, Einstein, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Rabindra Nath Tagore, Kalidas and Shakespeare were not Ph.D. holders. Many of them did not even go to school. Now, even after years of formal education, we haven’t achieved as much success and knowledge as they have. So there is more to education than confinement of books.
Education is ability to survive through odds. It is a way of living life.
