TheTeacher.in’s first-ever Educators’ Meet, with the theme ‘Future Ready Schools’, took place on 8 December, 2018, in Jamshedpur, in association with Hill Top School, Jamshedpur.

The conference had Mr. G. Balasubramanian, the former Director of CBSE, as the keynote speaker. He spoke about the past of education, addressed the present and spoke about the future of education. He engaged the audience with his wit and knowledge, narrated anecdotes and ensured that there was never a dull moment in the hall.

The Meet also witnessed a panel discussion where principals of different schools discussed the ‘future of schools’, students and the education system. The panel consisted of Ms. Puneeta B. Chouhan, the Principal of Hill Top School, Ms. Rajani Shekhar, the Principal of DBMS English School, and Ms. Amy Billimoria, the Principal of Tarapore School. The discussion was moderated by Ms. Rashmi Furtado, the Senior Editor of TheTeacher.in.

The conference was a huge success with nearly 160 teachers taking part, and with most of them asking for more of such meets!

With a great beginning at first Educators’ Meet, TheTeacher.in plans to expand to many other cities in the future.
