MHRD invites applicants for 2019 Korean Government Scholarship Programme

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has invited application from eligible Indian Nationals for the 2019 Korean Government Programme (KGSP) for International Students enrolled in Graduate program. The candidates will get scholarships in Masters, Doctoral and research programme. The number of nominations available is 15 out of which 10 will be awarded scholarship by the Government of Republic of Korea.The subject areas for which the scholarship will be awarded are Korean Language and Literature, International Relations, Bio-Technology, Electronic Engineering.
For Masters scholarship program, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree relevant to the proposed study by 31 August, 2019.
For Masters scholarship program, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree relevant to the proposed study by 31 August, 2019.
For Doctoral scholarship programme, the candidate must hold a Masterss degree or equivalent degree relevant to the proposed study by 31 August, 2019.
For Research scholarship programme, the candidate must have received invitation from one of National Institute for International Education (NIIED’s) designated Korean universities and must have the following qualification relevant to proposed study:

Postdoctoral Research Program: Applicants must hold a Doctoral degree or an equivalent degree by 31 August, 2019.

Professor Exchange Program: Applicants must hold a Masters degree or an equivalent degree by 31 August, 2019.

Program for Science, Education, Culture (International Professionals): Applicants must hold a Masters degree or an equivalent or higher than a Master’s degree by 31 August, 2019.
The age limit has been prescribed for candidates applying for Masters or Doctoral Programme must be under 40 years of age as of 1 September,2019. The candidates who are working as a professor must be under 45 years of age as of 1 September,2019.
The candidates can apply for this scholarship through Sakshat portal (http://proposal.sakshat.ac.in/scholarship/). The last date to apply for the scholarship is 20 March, 2019.
