The West Bengal educational board is reviewing the existing curriculum followed in class 10 Madhyamik board.
The Syllabus Reforms Committee of Madhyamik exam has undertaken the process of reviewing the curriculum for class 9 and 10. The 2022 batch will be the first batch to face the changes in the pattern of Class 10.
Previous changes made in Madhyamik exam
In the year 2015, the last changes were done in the Madhyamik syllabus. It had recommended more multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and text-based reading. Students will be awarded full marks even in language papers like English and Bengali if deserved.
The board had also allotted 10 percent marks on internal assessments of students in all the subjects.
Students who appeared in 2017 Madhyamik board exams were the first to witness the above-mentioned changes in curriculum.
