Nirmal Halgekar is from Shri Shankarlinga Model School, Chikalgud, near Belgaum.
The school celebrated Teachers’ Day by welcoming the teachers on a red carpet, flowers and a music band. The entire school was decorated with balloons and quotes about teachers. Breakfast and lunch was arranged for all the teachers by the management.
Competitions were held for teachers and a teaching competition was held for students. One of the teachers’ birthday was also celebrated on that day. A cake was cut and gifts were given to all teaching and non-teaching staff.
Along with all these, a tour to Hidkal Dam was also organized for all the staff of the school.
